I am here to serve the students, faculty and staff of ULM by providing network troubleshooting and maintenance support for PC and MAC users in Allied Health department, technical support for Microsoft Windows 9x, ME, NT (Server & Workstation), 2000 (Server-Standard-Professional), XP(Standard-Professional), and technical support for Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Also set up and trouble shoot compressed video conferences for distance learning classes in the school of Health Science. Our current platform for compressed video is the V-Tel Vista codec and software. I am also familiar with Polycom Via Video equipment.

I have 5 years of experience in tech support at State Farm Insurance Company serving as a back up to our system coordinators. There I learned all the little ins and outs of Windows, Office, and the rest of the Microsoft line up. Since joining the staff here at ULM, I've increased my knowledge of the networking structure here and abroad.

• Distance Learning Project for School of Pharmacy:  Implemented compressed video classes for off site faculty to instruct students on campus.  Used VTel equipment and software.
• Set up and installed new Pharmacy server using Windows 2003 software.  Created shared folders for faculty and setup shared software folders for student lab in Sugar Hall. 
  
• Setting up new IP video equipment for Sugar Hall renovations.  Set up room 351 with new Polycom video conference equipment.  Helped with specifications, lay out, and over all implementation with Solutionz, Inc.
• Converting current wireless network in Sugar Hall to newer 802.11g access points beginning Fall 2005.
• Will begin setting up new College of Pharmacy building beginning Fall 2005.

Doug Pederson Celebrity Golf Classic - In 2002, I was asked to help start up this great fund raising event by Doug Pederson. Our goal is to raise money for ARCO, a community resource here in Monroe. We had a great turnout our first year and are looking forward to many more. Check out the celebrities that helped us out....

Alabama Football  - I know that being a native of the bayou state, I should have a link to LSU football, but my hypocrisy only goes so far. There's only ONE dynasty in college football and it's BAMA! Check this site out if you want to be a believer like me. ROLL TIDE!!!!
