THE ULM ANNUAL FUND

ULM Parents Fund

Pix of Parents with GraduatesThe ULM Parents Fund is a way for parents and guardians of current ULM students to support ULM philanthropically.

Academic success for ULM students and today's rigorous learning environment is dependent on three financial resources.

The first two financial resources - state allocations and tuition - cover most basic expenses, while the third resource is provided by alumni, friends and family members who make contributions through the ULM Foundation. These charitable contributions from individuals provide ULM with the means to go the extra mile in establishing a unique educational environment.

Gifts from parents are designated for the university's most urgent needs by ULM President James E. Cofer, Sr. In this way, the university gains the capacity to respond to immediate needs in an immediate way. Vital new projects that might otherwise wait for state allocations are covered with these funds.

Parents who join the ULM Parents Fund receive the Parents Annual Report, which documents the activities generated by this fund and also get a "Proud ULM Parent" bumper sticker in recognition of their commitment.
