After graduating from Bradley University with a degree in marketing, he received his MBA at ULM and his Ph.D. from the University of North Texas. He was assistant professor of marketing at ULM from 1984-1990, professor of marketing from 1994-present and is also a professor at Shue Yan College in Hong Kong. He is the student organization advisor for Pi Sigma Epsilon and has hosted the marketing majors' cookout on several occasions. His community/public service work includes the North Monroe-Lakeshore Lions Club. He was a member of Congressman John Cooksey's Agriculture Committee from 1999-2003. About the Endowment: The Abell Endowed Professorship in Entrepreneurship was established in 1996 by Mr. Nelson Abell Jr. to help support the teaching and research activities of an eminent business scholar. |
