Value of Scholarship:

The scholarship fund is established with an initial contribution of $2,000.  Additional contributions will be added to the principal until the fund reaches $12,000.

Criteria for Selection:

1.  The recipient must be a graduate of a high school in Louisiana.

2.   The recipient must be an entering freshman at The University of Louisiana at Monroe and majoring in Agriculture.

3.   The recipient must have an overall 2.75 grade point average in High School and be committed to pursuing a career in agriculture or related industries.

4.  The scholarship is renewable for up to 3 additional years provided the recipient remains a full-time student in good standing with the University and maintains a 3.0 GPA in all agriculture courses.

Selection of Recipients:

Selection of recipients will be made by the ULM Scholarship Committee based on competitive consideration of the stated criteria.
