2011 ULM Alumni Association Board of DirectorsPRESIDENT She graduated with a B.S. ’61 in Clinical Laboratory Sciences, earned a M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling from Mississippi College in 1969, and her Plus 30 Graduate Hours from ULM in 1974. She retired from the field of education after many rewarding years as a science teacher, administrator in the Louisiana Department of Education and instructional supervisor for the Union Parish School District. She is married to Robert R. Earle (BS ’60). They have two grown children, Angel Lyles who lives in Pineville, LA and Chuck who lives in Dallas, TX. Granddaughters, Leslie Lyles (School of Nursing) and Lynden Lyles (School of Business Administration) are ULM students. Bobbye is a member of the Farmerville United Methodist Church. She has been a long-time active member of the ULM Alumni and the ULM Athletic Foundation. She is very involved with the Union-Lincoln Alumni Association/Athletic Foundation Chapter. PAST-PRESIDENT He was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity in college. Tom has been an avid supporter of ULM Athletics and has served on the board of the Athletic Foundation. Tom is a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Church. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Louisiana Purchase Council of the Boy Scouts, the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, and Life Choices. Tom served as past Chairman of The Better Business Bureau of Northeast Louisiana and Past President of the Northeast Louisiana Ad Federation. He has been active in the Alumni Association for over 20 years. PRESIDENT-ELECT Scott is the Manager of the Environmental Science Group of Neel-Schaffer, Inc., Jackson, Miss. He has served on the City of Ridgeland Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, the city's Master Plan Steering Committee, and is now a member of the city's Community Awareness Committee. He has served as President and Vice President of his homeowner's association, as VP of the B2B Professional Referral Group, and supports his son's high school booster club. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of Sigma Gamma Epsilon while at ULM. He has been a member of the Alumni Association since 1985 and a supporter of the ULM Athletic Foundation. VICE-PRESIDENT She has served as the Acadiana Chapter President for the past eight years and as the Area 2 Vice-President for three years. As a six-year Board member of the Krewe of Xanadu women’s Mardi Gras Krewe in Lafayette, she currently serves as historian and public relations chair and has been active with the Krewe since 2001. She also served on various Krewe committees and has been a Royalty Court Advisor for the past six years. She was selected as a Royalty Court member in 2003 and served as Membership Chair from 2004-2006. Brenda has also been active with the Krewe of Bonaparte since 2001. She has been the New Member Advisor with Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at UL-Lafayette for nine years. She is also a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma Business Fraternity and has received several honors and awards through the Social Security Administration. Brenda has been an active member of the ULM Alumni Association since 1986. Originally from Monroe, Brenda and husband Todd reside in Lafayette. SECRETARY-TREASURER They have two children, Chamberlin Reed, 5, and Ava Catherine, 4. I am currently an Assistant Vice President with Capital One Bank serving as the Branch Business Manager for Bossier Parish. While at ULM, he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha and graduated as Cum Laude. He is also a member of the ULM Athletic Foundation and ULM Alumni Association. AREA 1 Bart is a member of St. Angela Merici Church in Metairie and the Knights of Columbus. While attending ULM, Bart was a member of the golf team. He is an active member of the ULM Athletic Foundation as well as the L Club. Bart is a Past President of the ULM Alumni Association and he and Kay are also Alumni Association Life Members and both are active in the Greater New Orleans Alumni Chapter. The Area 1 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the following parishes: ORLEANS, ST. TAMMANY, ST. BERNARD, PLAQUEMINES, JEFFERSON, ST. CHARLES, LAFOURCHE, TERREBONNE, ASSUMPTION, ST. JAMES, and ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST AREA 2 Chad is single and works at Cashway Pharmacy in Scott, La. as a staff pharmacist. He is also the pharmacist in charge at the Compounding Pharmacy of Scott. Chad has been a member of ULM's Acadiana Alumni Chapter since his graduation. He enjoys traveling, golf, sports, and outdoors. The Area 2 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the following parishes: ST. MARY, IBERIA, ST. MARTIN, ALLEN, ACADIA, CALCASIEU, CAMERON, JEFFERSON DAVIS, LAFAYETTE, VERMILLION, BEAUREGARD, and ST. LANDRY AREA 3 She is married to Willie who is also a graduate of our University and they have two children, Chase and Kristin. Vikki is employed with Savon Pharmacy in Baton Rouge. Her residence is in Prairieville, La., where she is actively involved in her church, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and in Jack and Jill of America. Vikki is a current member of the ULM Alumni Association and currently serves as president of the Greater Baton Rouge Alumni Chapter. She also enjoys reading, serving in social activities and spending time with her family. The Area 3 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the following parishes: EAST BATON ROUGE, EAST FELICIANA, EVANGELINE, ST. HELENA, TANGIPAHOA, WASHINGTON, IBERVILLE, LIVINGSTON, WEST FELICIANA, ASCENSION, POINT COUPEE, and WEST BATON ROUGE. AREA 3A He serves as an active member of the Cenla Alumni Chapter. He is a life member of the ULM Alumni Association and is a member of the ULM Athletic Foundation. Fritz is married to Angela Palomo Winke who is also a ULM graduate. They have one son, Andrew James Winke, who is 9 months old. The Area 3A Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the following parishes: RAPIDES, AVOYELLES, VERNON, GRANT, CATAHOULA, WINN, NATCHITOCHES, LASALLE, and SABINE. AREA 4 Jamie is a member of the Young Women Services Club of Minden and she is the Contestant Chair for the Miss Minden Pageant. As a former St. Jude’s patient, Jamie is a St. Jude Life member and is actively involved in fund raising for the hospital. While a student at ULM, Jamie was a Warbonnet, a member of the Little Indians, Phi Mu, GreekSeekers, Prep Staff, Pop Staff, worked she also worked as an Enrollment Counselor recruiting first time freshmen to ULM. The Area 4 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the following parishes: BOSSIER, CADDO, CLAIBORNE, DESOTO, RED RIVER, WEBSTER, and BIENVILLE. AREA 4 Andy is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Shreveport, a member of the Elks Club, and former board member of the American Red Cross. In addition Andy is a former board member of the LACUE, LLA member, Texas Library Association member, and a LAMP board member. He is a Legacy Society Member (lifetime) of the ULM Alumni Association and a lifetime member of the "L" Club. While at ULM, Andy was on the President's list, and was a former football and track manager. Andy's involvement in the Caddo/Bossier Alumni Chapter includes serving as the Director of the Scholarship Golf Scramble. The Area 4 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the following parishes: BOSSIER, CADDO, CLAIBORNE, DESOTO, RED RIVER, WEBSTER, and BIENVILLE. AREA 5 After graduating from ULM, Robert obtained his M.E.D. from Mississippi College and later received his J.D. from Southern University Law School. He is now an attorney at The Earle Law Firm in Farmerville. Robert is a member of the Farmerville United Methodist Church and the Farmerville Lions Club where he has served as treasurer and president. He is a member of the ULM Alumni Association, ULM L Club and served as president on the ULM Athletic Foundation. Currently, Robert serves on the FCA Board of Directors, Ruston Region and is President of the Union Parish Alumni Chapter. Robert has also been the recipient of the Scogins Award. The Area 5 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the following parishes: CALDWELL, CONCORDIA, EAST CARROLL, FRANKLIN, JACKSON, LINCOLN, MADISON, MOREHOUSE, RICHLAND, TENSAS, UNION, and WEST CARROLL. AREA 5 Lisa has one daughter, Anna Beth, currently enrolled at ULM. Lisa serves as the West Carroll Republican Parish Election Chairman; is a member of the Capital One Bank Board; serves as a Political Action Committee Member for the Louisiana Nursing Home Association; and is a member of the Louisiana Nursing Home Association. She was also appointed by Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal to serve on the Louisiana Lottery Baord representing the 5th Congressional District. She attends the First United Methodist Church in Oak Grove. Lisa is a member of Kappa Delta and she is a lifetime member of the ULM Alumni Association. The Area 5 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the following parishes: CALDWELL, CONCORDIA, EAST CARROLL, FRANKLIN, JACKSON, LINCOLN, MADISON, MOREHOUSE, RICHLAND, TENSAS, UNION, and WEST CARROLL. AREA 5 While attending ULM, Jay was a member of the Warhawk Baseball Team. Jay graduated in 2006 from Marion High School where he was a member of the 2006 Class C State Championship Baseball Team and the 2006 Class C State Runner-up Basketball Team. Jay is employed with Marion State Bank where he serves as a loan officer at their Farmerville Branch. He is a member of the Haile Baptist Church and is involved in many community and civic activities. The Area 5 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the following parishes: AREA 6 In his 39 year career, he has also held senior positions with Montgomery Ward Credit Corp., Central Bank, First Commerce Corp. and Bank One. Wade earned a graduate degree from LSU and completed postgraduate work at the University of Oklahoma, the University of Colorado, Pepperdine University and the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. Wade has been active in The Louisiana American Institute of Banking; Northeast Louisiana American Institute of Banking; Louisiana Bankers Association; United Way of Northeast LA; Society of Human Resource Management; Kiwanis Club of West Monroe; Monroe Chamber Leadership Ouachita Program; and the Lotus Club of Monroe. Wade is married to the former Sandra Hogan (ULM '71) and have a daughter, Dr. Kristie Earnheart of San Diego. Wade and Sandra are active members of the First Baptist Church of West Monroe. The Area 6 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the following parish: OUACHITA. AREA 6 Sam is also a minister at his church, along with being involved with Rotary Club, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and various other groups. He was named Monroe City Schools Principal of the year in 2007 and 2008 and Outstanding Young Man of America in 1998. Sam is a current member of the ULM Alumni Association. The Area 6 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the following parish: OUACHITA. AREA 6
Tim is involved with the Monroe Jaycees where he has served as Membership Vice President and two terms as Treasurer and he also is a past Ambassador for the Monroe Chamber of Commerce. The father of two, Alex and Emory, Tim is an avid support of not only the ULM Alumni Association but also the ULM Athletic Foundation. The Area 6 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the following parish: OUACHITA. AREA 6 He has earned the designations of Certified Financial Manager and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. Adams is married to the former April Barnhill (BA ’98) and they have two beautiful daughters, Adelene and Ellanora. Adams currently servers on the board of Seeker Springs Ministry and is the past president of both Northeast Monroe Rotary Club and the Jeremy Barnhill Foundation for Christian Teens. While at ULM, Adams was a scholarship recipient and drum section leader in the Sound of Today Band. He also held leadership positions in Pi Kappa Alpha, Pi Sigma Epsilon, ULM 31, Prep Staff, Alpha Lambda Delta, Cardinal and Amber, and Mortar Board. The Area 6 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the following parish: OUACHITA. AREA 6 Kay currently serves on the ARCO Resource Development Committee. Kay has served on the Executive Board of the La Purchase Council of the Boy Scouts of America; the North La. Agribusiness Council; LifeShare Blood Centers Board of Regents (served on the properties and audit committees and the Foundation Board); and is a member of the LifeShare Community Advisory Committee. In addition, she has served on the Farm Bureau Board of Directors; Little Theatre Board of Directors; ULM Agricultural Advisory Committee; ULM Alumni Association; and was co-chair of the St. Frederick Building Fund Campaign. Kay worked as the Director of North Delta Law Enforcement District 1976-80, and was owner of The Horse Place Tack and Feed 1989-1992. She had been the owner and operator of Shipp Farms since 1985. The Area 6 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the following parish: OUACHITA. AREA 7 Missy is involved with her church, St. Mary Magdalene and a member of the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce and the Tyler Area Builders Association. Missy has served the Alumni Association in several areas such as chapter president and on the Alumni board. She is currently an active member of the Alumni Association. She and her family reside in Tyler, Texas. The Area 7 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the: UNITED STATES WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER (excluding Louisiana). AREA 7 She has three children, Sam, Katie and Anna. Sara is a member and serves as a teacher at St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas. She is also a member of the Phi Mu Fraternity Alumni Association of Dallas as well as an Area III Officer for Phi Mu Fraternity, Marketing Plus in Dallas and Collin Counties. Sara serves as a leader of the Collin County Aging Network Group as well as a coach for the McKinney Lions, a U8 recreational soccer team. Sara is currently the President of the Dallas/Fort Worth ULM Alumni Chapter. She is married to Doug Brice, has three children and live in McKinney, Texas. The Area 7 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the: UNITED STATES WEST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER (excluding Louisiana). AREA 8 While at ULM, she was a member of Delta Sigma Pi Business Fraternity and nominated to the Homecoming court. She is involved in many organizations such as Girl Scouts and community groups to encourage young students and to motivate students to go to college. Sharon’s goal is to enhance the balance life and achievement for herself and all those she has contact with. The Area 8 Vice President represents ULM alumni living in the: UNITED STATES EAST OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER.

Bobbye is a retired supervisor of instruction for Union Parish Schools and currently is co-owner of Nexus Systems Inc. located in Monroe, Louisiana. 
Tom is a New York Life Insurance agent in Monroe, is married to the former Jo Ann Bradley (BA ’74) and has two children, Brad and Lauren. 
Scott is married to Stephanie Higginbotham, has two sons Andrew (Holmes CC) and Cody (Ridgeland HS), and a daughter Ashley (Holmes CC). They are residents of Ridgeland, Miss., and members of the First Baptist Church.
Brenda is a claims representative for the Social Security Administration in Lafayette, La. 
Jeremy resides in Shreveport, where he is married to his wife Miranda Waller Moore, who is also a ULM graduate. 
Bart is an agent with State Farm Insurance in Metairie, La., He is married to the former Kay Davis (BBA ’84). They have two children, Joey, who currently attends ULM and Taylor Michele.
Chad received his Pharm. D. from ULM in 2003. While in pharmacy school he was an active member of Phi Delta Chi pharmacy fraternity.
Victoria is a graduate from the School of Pharmacy
at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. 
Fritz is currently a Spanish teacher at Pineville High School and also coaches the tennis team. 
Jamie is a Relationship Banker for Capital One Bank in Minden. 
Andy is the School / Library Representative for World Book, Inc. He and
his wife Sharon have two children Melissa and Stephen. 
Robert is married to the former Bobbye Jane Fletcher (BS ’61) and has two children, Chuck Earle and Angel E. Lyles. He also has a granddaughter that is currently enrolled at ULM.
Lisa is the Owner/CEO of Cox Funeral Homes and Flower Shops and Carroll Nursing Home, Inc.
Jay Snell is a 2010 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a B.S. degree. 
Wade currently serves as a Senior Strategic Relationship Manager with JP Morgan Asset Management, a position he has held for 11 years.
Sam is employed by Monroe City School Board as principal of Wossman High School and is also a Real Estate Investor. He is married to Felicia and they have 4 children.
Tim is the Assistant Vice President of Customer Care for Chase Bank. Tim has been with Chase for 14 years. 
Adams is a Financial Advisor and Assistant Vice President with Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management. 
Kay Heck Shipp graduated from ULM with a BA in 1970 and a MA 1973. She has three children, Jim (29), Allison (27), and Robert (deceased). 
Missy is an agent with State Farm Insurance in Tyler, Texas. She is married to Richard Adams and has a son, Ryan. 
Sara is the Program Director for the Texas Health Presbyterian Plano Scoliosis and Spine Tumor Center in Plano, Texas. 
Sharon is the CEO of Sharon Green State Farm Insurance Company in Slidell.
