Your ULM Instructor may have chosen to use this facility as a supplement to your existing course. It is your instructor's discretion as to whether you are required to use this facility for class information/projects.

If you are enrolled as a student for the current semester, you have been assigned a Blackboard and Tribe account. You can check your account name to verify your account assignment.

For Instructors only - you can use this form to request a Blackboard account and/or a course to be setup.

You will use your assigned account name as found in the above utility. Your account name and password are case sensitive. Once properly logged into the Blackboard portal, you will find an abundance of tools. Initially we encourage you to modify your password. This is located within the TOOLS frame under Personal Information. Other tools in this category allow you to personalize Blackboard for your computer as well as edit email addressing and such.

The content of other frames on the main portal may change from time to time as different announcements about specific courses are brought to your attention. You will also find the frame to the right most area of the screen which shows any courses you may be enrolled in for the current semester.

A few quick notes:

• the Send Email link under TOOLS is for communication with participants of the Blackboard courses
• My Calendar can be used for personal events as well as university related
• My Grades allows you to review tests and grades associated with Blackboard courses only
• Simply click on the Courses tab at the top of the page to view a more detailed summary of your courses and browse other potentially available courses.
