Student Employment Administrator

Roslynn graduated from ULM in 1981 with a Bachelor's degree in Communications. She has over 15 years' experience working in the Office of Financial Aid Services, which includes reviewing and awarding financial aid, counseling students and parents, presenting outreach programs to area high schools and organizations, and managing the Federal Work-Study Program. Prior to her work at ULM, she worked with Entergy as Senior Communications Specialist for the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station. Her position with the company required her to travel extensively throughout Mississippi and parts of Louisiana presenting outreach programs about nuclear energy.

Roslynn's position with Career Connections and Experiential Education will be to work closely with the on-campus Federal Work-Study Program and the Job Location and Development Program (JLD). The JLD program locates and develops off-campus job opportunities for students currently enrolled at ULM, regardless of financial need or academic progress.

"It is a pleasure for me to be working with our faculty/staff as well as area employers in locating and developing employment for our students. Being employed helps students achieve self-independence as well as time management, and communication skills, and also reduces their dependence on student loans.
