Tutoring

The Student Success Center offers free tutoring to ULM students in the Clarke M. Williams Student Success Center (SSC).  The SSC provides academic assistance that’s free, helpful, and confidential.  If you are having academic difficulty or just want to do your best in a course, the tutoring program provides resources that can help. 

The SSC provides tutoring in the following courses in Clarke M. Williams Student Success Center:

• Atmospheric Sciences 101, 103, 205, 303, 304

• Biology 101, 110, 114, 115, 116, 117, 120, 121, 122, 214, 215, 228 (all 100-200 level courses)

• Chemistry 101, 107, 108, 109, 110

• Math 093, 112, 113, 114, 116, 118, 131, 132

• Physics 203, 204, 208, 209

• Economics 201, 202

• Other subjects by request: Call the SSC to request tutoring in other subjects. You may be connected to the department in question or one of the SSC tutors may be able to help you on a limited basis.

The SSC also coordinates with academic departments to provide tutoring in other courses.

• English 101 & 102  tutoring is available in the Write Place located in
  ADMN 3-88.
•  Math 110 & 111 (College Algebra) tutoring is available in the Mathematics Resource Center located in the Airway Sciences Building.
• Accounting 212, 213, 310 tutoring is available in the Administration Building, 2^nd floor.  For more information call 342-1118.
