2010-11: The mandatory dues structure was officially instated in 2008. Members who
joined the IAC before mandatory dues were instated were given the option of paying
their dues and continuing as members of the council or finishing out their three-year
appointment without paying dues and without the option to remain on the IAC after
their current appointment runs out. All current IAC members are now paying IAC dues.

2009-10: Students were assessed in three areas. See Student Learning Outcomes for
2009-2010.
Ability to compose a written report free of errors in punctuation and grammar - The target was "75% of students will produce a technical report which contains fewer than 5 errors in punctuation and grammar." The results were "83% met the target of having 5 or fewer mistakes. 40% had error free reports."
Ability to organize a technical report according to a given set of instructions - The target was "80% of students will produce a technical report which follows all given instructions." The results were "Only 45% of the reports followed all instructions."
Ability to develop a technical presentation - The target was "80% of students will develop a technical presentation which effectively communicates their ideas." The results were "Only 55% of the presentations met all requirements. Presenting the material in the time frame required was the predominant mistake.
