Ed.D in Curriculum and Instruction
The Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction is designed for persons who are interested in and show promise of becoming scholars and leaders in the domains of curriculum, teaching, teacher education, and/or educational policy at the K-12 or college level, or in local, state, regional, or national agencies.This 100% online, 60 credit-hour degree features a solid, rigorous program of academic coursework and research experiences which prepares future scholars and practitioners to understand and address P-12 school problems and needs from a holistic perspective.

This program is accepting applications for Fall 2013 cohort (deadline is April 15, 2013).
Admission Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Education or related field
Masters degree in Education or a related field
Candidates must also hold a current license and/or certification in their major field of study
Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of at least 2.75
Minimum cumulative graduate GPA of at least 3.25
All applicants must have completed the Graduate Record
Examination (GRE) with minimum Verbal score of 500 and minimum Quantitative score of 500 + minimum
4.5 A for Full Admission OR minimum Verbal score of 500 and minimum Quantitative score of 500 + minimum > 3.5 A for Probational Admission.
Admissions Procedures
There are two steps to applying to the Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction.
1. Submit a complete application to ULM Graduate School, including all non-ULM transcripts, GRE scores,and application fee.
2. Submit a completed packet of the following items directly to the Program Director, either by email to

a current resume or curriculum vitae; three (3) letters of recommendation from professional
colleagues who are familiar with his/her character, work, and skills (where applicable); a scholarly writing sample of 8-10 pages; a professional goal statement: 1-3 page typed statement of your professional goals and how the Ed.D. will lead to the fulllment of these goals; for International students, a TOEFL score of 61 or above.
The application process is selective, so meeting the minimum requirements for admission does not necessarily guarantee admittance into the program.
