Textbook Ad Hoc Committee

To review current textbook policy and recommend ways to keep the cost of textbooks as low as possible for our students since tuition and fees (not to mention book costs) have increased so much in recent years. Committee is to submit a revised policy to be implemented for spring textbook orders.

Ad Hoc Committee - Campus Standards - Endowed Professorship Appointments 2014-15

Develop standards of performance for appointment of endowed professorship holders. Those standards should reflect the role, scope, and mission of campus and recognize that the performance of faculty selected for endowed professorships should exceed standard expectations for appointment, promotion, and tenure.

Develop a plan that will be used across the university to determine future merit raises for full-time faculty members. Annual faculty evaluations should be included as a factor in determining the pay increase.
