The Spam Firewall is a mechanism designed to reduce the amount of junk mail that enters an email inbox. When a large amount of emails is trafficked, some messages will be useful and desired and others will be unsolicited advertisements and unwanted debris. A spam filter tries to effectively separate these messages into the proper categories and send through the good while leaving out the bad.
 
The problem is that the criteria for what is good and what is bad is not clear....

The Computing Center has undergone an organizational change with the aim of consolidating personnel  and providing enhanced service.  There are now 5 areas in the Computing Center – Administrative Systems, Enterprise Systems, Technology Support, Telecommunications, and Web Development.

ULM Students & Employees,

Please be advised that a minor change will be implemented on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 for the ULM Wireless Network services.  The "ULM Guest" wireless profile currently allows seamless connection from WiFi activated mobile devices, laptops, etc.  Due to the overwhelming growth of WiFi capable mobile devices (Smartphones or PDAs), we have noticed a utilization spike with users/devices having immediate access to Internet resources...

Again we have more progress to report in the way of final wireless provisions for all Campus Facilities.  We just completed provisions for Wireless Internet in the following Academic Buildings:
Garrett Hall, Stubbs Hall, Brown Hall, Coenen Hall.

These locations were made active over the past 2 weeks.
Bry Hall is the last building on our list of additions.  We intend to have it completed before Fall semester begins.
