Wired Networking - Cable Plant requests

The Computing Center manages all network and phone cabling systems on the ULM Campus.

Please visit computersos.ulm.edu to complete any work requests for additional lines, modifications, or trouble-shooting.

Network line costs are broken down as follows:

1-4 new data/phone lines in a given area: $125.00/line
5 or more data/phone lines in a given area: $90.00/line
Relocate a data/phone line: $40.00/line

Exception for Plenum rated buildings: Strauss, Library, Nursing, Chemistry

1-4 new data/phone lines in a given area: $180.00/line
5 or more data/phone lines in a given area: $125.00/line

When you submit a request for lines, please be sure to include an accurate ULM budget code that will cover the cost of the request. If you are uncertain about exactly what may be needed for network adjustments in an area, please place the job request online with a brief description and we will contact you to further consult with you on the project.

If you wish to implement a piece of networking equipment in your area, please check our Equipment Policy, or contact the Computing Center for approval.
