Like all students at ULM, English majors must complete the general core curriculum as follows

Humanities: 9 hours
Six hours must be taken as a sequence of two courses in either Literature or History. The other three must be in the other discipline (a student must have at least one course in either the U.S. or World History.
Students taking ENGL 2003 and 2004 (World Lit.), must take either HIST 2001 or 2002 (U.S.).
Student taking ENGL 2005 and 2006 (U.S. Lit.), must take either HIST 111 or 1012 (World). |
