Orientation
As a new (international) student, you will receive information from the Office of International Student Programs and Services concerning the orientation program. Your attendance is mandatory. To contact the office, email: international@ulm.edu
The Office of International Student Programs and Services guides you through government and university regulations while you are a student at ULM. The office has resources you may find useful, including information on area cultural opportunities, housing, English language opportunities and general information about the campus. Additionally, the office serves as a base of operations for the International Student Association, which would like to extend you a welcome and invite you to attend their parties and activities. Facilities
ULM has modern facilities which provide a good learning environment. The campus has 23 academic buildings. A new Health and Counseling Center is available to students on campus. The Student Union, currently under renovation, will provide students with a theatre, food court, lounge, and meeting rooms. ULM has a football stadium; indoor natatorium (olympic-size pool); activity center; tennis, track, and baseball stadiums; and Fant-Ewing Coliseum for basketball games.
Campus Living
In 2004, ULM began a renovation of all residence halls. After completion, campus housing will include over 400 new apartments and 1100 new suite-style rooms. Applicants will receive housing applications after acceptance to the University has been established.
