ULM announces winners of Region III science and social studies fairs

The University of Louisiana at Monroe recently hosted two fairs: the 2013 Region III Science and Engineer Fair on Tuesday, March 12, and the 2013 Region III Social Studies Fair on Thursday, March 14. Both fairs were held at ULM's Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

For the past eight years, the University of Louisiana at Monroe College of Business has worked closely with Louisiana Tech’s College of Business to deliver the Business and Economic Outlook Summit for the betterment of the region. ULM to rename Nursing Building in honor of Kitty DeGree April 12

At 11 a.m. on Friday, April 12, University of Louisiana at Monroe and community officials will celebrate the dedication of "Kitty DeGree Hall." The public is encouraged to attend. The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors approved renaming the university's nursing building in honor of philanthropist Kitty DeGree, on Feb. 26, following a formal request from ULM.
