ULM music faculty to perform at regional conference

The Black Bayou Brass trio--the resident faculty brass ensemble in the School of Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) at the University of Louisiana at Monroe--has been invited to perform at the Big XII Area Universities Trombone Conference, held on the campus of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.

ULM's Hanser lectures to Chinese Military on immigration and border security

Hanser, coordinator of the criminal justice program at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, was a recent guest of the Chinese People's Armed Police Academy (CPAPFA), in Langfang, China. During his stay, Hanser provided lectures and training to border security officers and military personnel of the People's Republic of China.
