Dr. Mike Beutner is holder of the Entergy Professorship in Instructional Technology in Teacher Education.
He is an associate professor in the Instructional Technology program in the College of Education and Human Development.
Dr. Beutner earned a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from Ohio University in 2001, a Masters of Arts in Public Administration from Ohio University in 1979, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 1977.
From 1998-2004, he was an assistant professor/adjunct faculty in Ohio University's College of Education, and also served as an instructor of Instructional Technology for undergraduate and graduate courses.
Dr. Beutner was a professional multimedia software developer from 1999 -2004, producing 20+ commercial video-based educational software titles.
He has been involved in Instruction and Curriculum Development of intensive English language program at the University of Guam, and has worked with several universities in the Pacific Rim, including Tunghai University in Taichung, Taiwan.
