Dr. Dorothy Davis is the holder of the John L. Luffey, Sr. Endowed Professorship in Accounting.
She is an Associate Professor of Accounting where her main focus is in Accounting Information Systems. An interest in small business has grown over the last 17 years through research into accounting information systems as it applies to small business.
She is published in this area and has presented papers at Entrepreneurship seminars and conferences. Other research interests include taxes and legal issues relating to accounting.
Her Master of Professional Accountancy degree and her Doctorate were earned at Mississippi State University.
She is also a CPA.

The John L. Luffey, Sr. Endowed Professorship in Accounting endowment was established to encourage and reward excellence in teaching, learning and research at ULM.
