The University of Louisiana at Monroe Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (ULM AMS) is an organization which strives to promote and foster the development of operational meteorology and research in the ARK-LA-MISS region. Meetings are held once a month (September through May) and are open to members and the general public. Our meetings and projects incorporate both informative and social events including guest speakers from the National Weather Service, private industry, and Emergency Management. The AMS also participates in severe weather awareness events, tailgating in the Grove before football games, intramurals, nights out for bowling, games, and eating out.

We are looking forward to a successful year!
