What is the goal of an Educational Technology degree?
Educational Technology leaders have a direct impact on the planning and utilization
of technology for learning, teaching, and training, especially with web-based strategies
that apply best practices in e-learning and instructional design. The mission of this
program is to make a significant and long-lasting positive impact on learning and
professional training by promoting and enhancing professional excellence through authentic
project-based learning experiences.
Am I required to have a teacher certification in order to apply for admission?
No.
How long does it take to complete the program?
The Educational Technology Leadership program is a 36-credit hour degree that can
be completed in 12 months; students wishing to spread their coursework out over a
longer period of time have up to six years to complete the program. Applicants can
apply to begin in any semester and will be able to finish in 12 months regardless
of the term in which they begin. This program is offered completely online.
