Pre-OT Students Only: Those pre-OT students who have not yet taken MATH 1016 are now required to take PSYC 4039 per discussions with the department head of the Occupational Therapy Department at the LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. For pre-OT students who have already taken MATH 1016 and have guided electives left to take, we are strongly recommending to these students to take PSYC 4039 before application.

Online Courses at ULM: There are many online courses offered at ULM; however, some of the online course offerings are strictly designated for the Center for Adult Learning in Louisiana, or C.A.L.L. students only.

Under the Course Search in Banner, if the course indicates "Online Student Only" then this course is for C.A.L.L. students only and traditional students will not be able to register for that course.

Healthcare Marketing/Management Option Online - available through the eULM Program

Change of Majors: Students who change their majors to Health Studies must make an appointment initially with Dr. Jessica Dolecheck, Health Studies department head, to review the program and important requirements. Dr. Dolecheck's contact info is available at left.

Keep in mind not all courses previously taken will be accepted for the Health Science's degree program; therefore, degree completion is typically extended beyond what the student originally planned for because students have to "catch up" to new Health Studies degree requirements.

The information above is provided for reference only, please refer to the academic catalog and your advisor for specific information.
