“The ULM HELPS Project is here for all students having any kind of mental health issues such as, sadness, loneliness, anxiety, panic attacks, too much drug and/or alcohol use, or even suicidal thoughts or attempts. While you are at ULM our goal is to make this one of the best experiences of your life. When issues of depression, eating or sleeping distress, or mood swings are affecting your life it is hard to concentrate on classes, or the enjoyment that life should bring."                  Just open the door and come in to a life of mental wellness.

“The ULM HELPS Project is here to let all students and personnel know there are many people on the ULM campus who simply want you to just open the door and ask for help. It is that simple now. Anytime in the future that you see a doorhanger with the ULM HELPS logo you know that by opening the door you have found a safe and confidential way to receive help.
In addition we are here to educate ULM faculty, staff, police officers, students and their families to recognize the warning signs of mental health issues, and to get the best help for  students.
We are ULM HELPS and we are Helping Educators and Learners Prevent Suicide.”
