On-campus Housing

ULM provides students with several options for on-campus housing. Please visit this link for housing plans and prices.

On-campus housing fills very quickly during the months prior to the openings of the Spring and Fall semesters. If you are considering applying for on-campus housing, send in an application as soon as possible.

Please note: On-campus housing is only available during the Spring and Fall semesters. Students housed in the dormitories are required to move out during the Summer and Winter sessions. Additionally, all students living in the dormitories are required to purchase a meal plan.

Off-campus Housing

A good search engine for seeking apartments can be found at www.theNewsStar.com. Select "Apartments" for the most current openings. Additionally, http://www.yellowpages.com/
Monroe-LA/Apartments
lists every unit with a phone number.

If you do not have an apartment lined up before you arrive, the International Student Office *may* be able to arrange accomodation with a local family to provide temporary housing. Most of these people have dogs and/or cats living with them so you must be tolerant of this custom. We will try to provide friendly assistance as you get settled.

Near the beginning of the semester, the International Student Office sends out an email to all incoming students concerning students seeking roommates.

ULM Housing Regulations

All unmarried, full-time, undergraduate students under the age of 21 are required to live in on campus residence halls as long as space is available. See the Student Policy Manual for exceptions and appeal procedures.

The International Student Office can assist students who are looking for a roommate or off-campus housing by contacting current students. Please e-mail inquiries to international@ulm.edu.
