On-campus Housing

ULM provides students with several options for on-campus housing. Please visit the ULM Residential Life Web site for housing plans and prices.

On-campus housing fills very quickly during the months prior to the openings of the Spring and Fall semesters. If you are considering applying for on-campus housing, please submit a housing application as soon as possible.

Please note: On-campus housing in suites and dormitories is only available during the Spring and Fall semesters. Students housed in the dormitories and suites are required to move out during the Summer and Winter sessions. University apartments may be available year round.

Additionally, all students living on campus are required to purchase a meal plan.

Off-campus Housing

A good search engine for seeking apartments can be found at www.theNewsStar.com/apartments/. Additionally, http://www.yellowpages.com/
Monroe-LA/Apartments/
lists every unit with a phone number.

If you do not have an apartment lined up before you arrive, the International Student Office may be able to arrange accomodations with a local family to provide temporary housing. Most of these people have dogs and/or cats living with them so you must be tolerant of this custom. We will try to provide friendly assistance as you get settled.

Near the beginning of the semester, the International Student Office sends out an email to all incoming students concerning students seeking roommates.

ULM Housing Regulations

All unmarried, full-time, undergraduate students under the age of 21 are required to live in on campus residence halls as long as space is available. Refer to ULM's Student Policy Manual for exceptions and appeal procedures.

The International Student Office can assist students who are looking for a roommate or off-campus housing by contacting current students. Please e-mail inquiries to international@ulm.edu.
