Information for ULM Alumni
Welcome
The University Library welcomes returning alumni. Please stop by the Reference/Information Desk (to the right as you enter the main lobby on the first floor) for floor maps or other information concerning the Library— Things may have changed since you went to school here! Alumni are welcome to use the information resources available in the Library, including online materials.
Parking
Please check the Information for Visitors page for current information on parking.
Hours
The University Library's hours vary according to the University's schedule. Visitors are advised to check the schedule of open days and current hours posted on the Library homepage prior to travel. Please note that the University Library is regularly closed on Friday afternoons and all day on Saturdays.
Borrowing Library Materials
Members of the Alumni Association may purchase an "Alumni Courtesy Library" card for ten dollars to borrow materials from the University Library collections. The card is good for one calendar year. To purchase the card, visit the ULM Anna Gray Noe Alumni Center, at 4400 Bon Aire Drive. For a campus map, click here— The Alumni Center is building number 29.
The Library may also be able to loan materials if you have a Trailblazer card from your public library. The Library will also accept LALINC cards from The Louisiana Library Network, although its usefulness will vary by institution.
Internet Access
There are computers with access to the Internet located in the first floor lobby and elsewhere throughout the University Library. Alumni are welcome to use these, though we ask that you limit your time on the computers when the Library is busy and students may need to utilize the computers.
Giving to the Library
To make a memorial or other gift to the Library, please contact the Dean of the Library, Mr. Donald Smith, via email to dosmith@ulm.edu, telephone call to (318) 342-1050, or stop by the Library administrative office in Room 414, on the 4th floor of the Library.
