About Art...
Undergraduate art curricula provide a broad base of visual experience and discipline in a variety of areas. Introductory courses in design, drawing, and art survey provide foundations for advanced work in any medium, as well as support for programs in other departments of the University. The School of Visual and Performing Arts, Division of Art, offers the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major area of concentration selected from art education, ceramics, drawing, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking or sculpture.

Advertising, Printing, Designing, Art Education

Designers, Magazine Editors, Directors/Managers of Museums, Art Instruction and Teaching

  • Study abroad opportunities in London and Paris
  • Division of Art hosts a Junior/Senior Juried Art Exhibition open to schools across Northeast Louisiana
  • Design students provide free design assistance to small area businesses through the Small Business Institute and The Louisiana Small Business Development Center
  • Graphic Design students provide pro-bono art and design assistance to non-profit organizations and institutions

Kappa Pi, Delta Alpha Chapter (International Honorary Art Fraternity)
