About Health Studies...
The Department of Health Studies (DHS) offers a multi-option Bachelor of Science in Health Studies (BSHS) degree—Pre-Professional Health Studies (HSPP), Healthcare Management/Marketing (HSMM) and Healthcare Management/Marketing Online (HSME). The multi-Health Studies undergraduate degree program has been operational since January 2006 and is growing rapidly with approximately 200 majors in the program. Offering both on-line and on-campus curricula, the Health Studies program prepares graduates with a firm foundation in health science education that will support entry into mid-level managerial positions in the healthcare industry or to enter graduate education in health-related fields.
