Kappa Mu Epsilon

KME is a nationally recognized honors society and membership is viewed highly by employers, as well as professional and graduate schools. There is a one-time national membership fee of $20. This $20 is essentially returned to the new members in the following forms: membership certificates and cards, keypin jewelry, a two-year subscription to the society’s journal, delegate money to national conventions, etc. This fee is required by the national organization. There are no local dues for membership.

New Initiates

• Must be or a regularly enrolled student at ULM,
• Must have completed at least three semesters at ULM (or at least one semester at ULM if a transfer student),
• Must rank in the upper 35% of his/her class, and
• Must have completed at least three college courses in mathematics including at least Math 1031 and attained an average of B or better in all mathematics courses.

The initiation ceremony will be held in mid-Spring. If you have the qualifications, contact your mathematics professor or Dr. Youssef Dib, for more information.
