Marriage & Family Therapy Programs

Meet our Adjunct team.

Allison LuxAllison C. Lux, Ph.D., L.M.F.T., L.P.C., N.C.C. Dr. Allison Lux is an adjunct professor for U.L.M.'s Marriage and Family Therapy programs.  Dr. Lux is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and National Certified Counselor. She is a clinical member of AAMFT/ LAMFT and a professional member of ACA/ LCA. Dr. Lux is currently in private practice at Lux Counseling in Monroe.  She received her Masters degree (2007) and Doctorate (2011) in Marriage and Family Therapy from U.L.M. Her professional work experience is diverse and includes serving in settings such as medical clinics, elementary schools, non-profit agencies, universities, and private practices. Dr. Lux has presented at local, state, and national conferences on various counseling/ therapy topics. She has a primary interest in strengthening relationships, with an emphasis on intimate partner dynamics.
Katherine WilsonKatherine M. Wilson PhD, LMFT, LPC, RN

Katherine practices marriage and family therapy at The Woman’s Clinic Inc. in Monroe, LA. Katherine is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University (BA-Psychology), Northwestern State University of LA (RN), and University of Louisiana at Monroe (MA, PhD-MFT). Katherine also teaches graduate courses for the University of Louisiana at Monroe, Louisiana Tech University, and Texas A & M-Central Campus. She teaches Psychopharmacology, Family Crisis Intervention, Introduction to MFT, Advanced theory of MFT, Family Relations & Development, Family Assessment and Treatment in MFT, and Crisis Intervention.  Katherine currently serves as the Treasurer for the Louisiana Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
