We here at the Prep Academy of Music are friends of Moby Pincher.  His author, Dee Scallan, introduced us to Moby two years ago – such a kind-hearted little crawfish.  We and many children had a great time at Moby’s little play called Moby Pincher’s Musical Adventure.    

Moby is planning a party for his Great Grand Claw Mere and she wants to invite a lot of children.  When it comes to children, she says “The more the better.” Moby is so optimistic, after the good time we all had last year that he reserved Brown Auditorium – it holds 800 children!  What a party that will be!!       

Moby noticed that the children wanted to touch the musical instruments so he’s arranged this year for Prep Academy instructors to bring instruments out on the lawn after the play so everyone can hold a musical instrument – a Petting Zoo. We’re even going to try to play some of them.  Everybody who attends the play will get to do this interactive activity. What a birthday party idea!        

The ULM Natural History Museum staff thought all this sounded like a lot of fun. They had a great idea – let children come to the museum too for a tour of over 3,000 square feet of exhibits from our natural world: animals, fish, plants, rocks and gems, archeology, and a h-u-g-e alligator. It’s awesome!

All that’s left is to wait until May 7th when we, hopefully, we will see you at Great Grand Claw Mere’s birthday party.
