Two ULM Graduates Display Work At Bry Art Gallery

The Bry Art Gallery at the University of Louisiana at Monroe is currently showing an exhibition of the studio work of recent Bachelor of Fine Arts degree recipients Rebecca Kuzma of West Monroe and Laura McManus of Winnsboro.

McManus is showing landscape, still life and figurative silverprint and color hand printed photographs, plus experiments in multiple exposure and computerized imagery as well as commercial projects. In support of this major statement, the artist has also included non-objective acrylic paintings.

Kuzma is displaying hand built and wheel thrown glazed stoneware ceramics in the form of hanging reliefs, freestanding sculptural pieces and traditional utilitarian ware. In support of her major statement, the artist has included figurative clay and mixed media figurative sculpture, polychromed non-objective sand cast sculpture, non-objective and portrait graphite and pastel drawings, and landscape achromatic woodcut original prints. This exhibition will be on view through July 1. Bry Art Gallery is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays.
