The members of the Delta Zeta chapter of Kappa Delta sorority at The University of Louisiana at Monroe will hold their annual "teeter-totter" event to raise money for Kappa Delta's national philanthropy, Prevent Child Abuse.

Members of the sorority will seesaw for 24 hours beginning on Friday Nov. 22 and lasting until Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002. The event will begin Friday at 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. in Northgate Shopping Center parking lot on Forsythe Avenue. The event continues in "The Grove" at ULM on Saturday, from 12:00 p.m. 3:30 p.m. (right before the ULM vs. ULL football game). All proceeds will go to Prevent Child Abuse Louisiana.

Since 1981, Kappa Delta has supported the child abuse prevention efforts of Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA). Prevent Child Abuse America has led the way in building awareness, providing education and inspiring hope to everyone involved in the effort to prevent the abuse and neglect of children. Working with chapters in 39 states and the District of Columbia, they provide leadership to promote and implement prevention efforts at both the national and local levels.
