Student Group Sponsors Professional Development Seminar

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Public Relations Students Society of America, PRSSA, hosts a Professional Development Seminar, April 28 at 6 p.m. in the University Conference Center on the 7th floor of the ULM Library.

This seminar is designed to give direction in areas of resume building, interviewing skills, the complete job search and professional development. It will feature speakers: Gerrald Ingram of Career Technical College, Denise Maxwell of Chase, Johnny Huntsman of Johnny's Pizza, Vici French of French Creative Group, Peggy Ellis of State Farm, Tom Nickelson of Strauss Interest Company, and Marvin Smith of Marketing Exchange.

"This is an excellent opportunity to get the insiders point of view on what employers want in an employee and how we can prepare ourselves for our next job search," says Jo Lynn Peacock, President of the ULM chapter of PRSSA.

The cost in $2 per person. Tickets are available at the door, in the CASS office at Harris Hall Wednesday from 9 a.m-2 p.m. in front of the Administration Building.
