Student Work on Display at the Wesley Art Gallery

The Wesley Art Gallery at the Northeast Campus Ministry facility is currently showing a one-person award exhibition in ceramics by Melissa Lee of LaPlace, a senior graphic design major in the University of Louisiana at Monroe Department of Art.

Lee is the sixth student-artist to mount an award exhibition during the current academic year. Such exhibitions are prizes awarded at the Annual Arts Quest, a juried competition for ULM students and alumni.

On display are non-objective acrylic paintings, landscape watercolor and figurative charcoal drawings, still life and landscape silverprint photographs, and graphic design examples in the form of magazine covers, logos and computer generated imagery.

Located at 112 Delano Drive on the ULM campus, the Wesley Art Gallery is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Lee's 15 piece exhibition will continue through March 14.
