The Bry Art Gallery at the University of Louisiana at Monroe is currently showing the first in a series of graduating senior studio exhibitions.

A two-person exhibition by Crystal Cardenas of Tulsa, Okla., and Jessica Head of Grayson will be on view through June 18.

Ms. Cardenas, a May graduate with a BFA in painting, is showing a series of non-objective subtly layered oil paintings on canvas.

Ms. Head, a May graduate with a BFA in sculpture, is showing freestanding sculptural forms involving juxtapositions of ceramics, wood, metal, and fiber; freestanding monolithic welded steel non-objective forms; relief sculpture combining wood, ceramics, metal, fiber, and found object materials, some of which are displayed in multi-paneled presentations; plus lithographic original prints in the form of still life and non-objective images.

The Cardenas-Head exhibition will be on view from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.
