The Twin Cities Concert Band (TCCB) will present a concert of Broadway favorites this Sunday, October 26th at 3 p.m. in Kiroli Park. The TCCB is a community band comprised of teachers, doctors, businesspeople and other band fans. Dr. Michael Spears is serving as principal conductor and ULM's own Jack White, Director of Bands Emeritus, and Derle Long of the School of Music will join him on the podium. Included in this program are selections from Cats, the Sound of Music, West Side Story, Hello Dolly, Chicago, Fiddler on the Roof, and many more. There is a $1 admission charge to Kiroli Park, but the concert is free. Bring lawn chairs, family, and friends, and come enjoy the concert.

Also on Tuesday, October 28th at 5:30 p.m., ULM will host the Louisiana Music Educators Association District I marching band festival in Malone Stadium. Eight high school bands will be performing that night and as an added bonus, the Sound of Today will perform at the conclusion of the festival. There is no charge for admission.
