Gerontology/Medical Service Fund-Raiser

ULM's Gerontology program and the Gerontology Association are helping with a fundraising raffle to assist with medical expenses for Chris Bowman. Chris is the husband of Dr. Jan Bowman, professor of gerontology, and father of Christie Bowman, a marketing junior at ULM. He is receiving cancer treatments in Germany that are not available in the United States.


Donations may be made and tickets may be picked up from Dr. Dale Welch at the Gerontology Department, 104 Stubbs or by calling 342-1430 or 342-1750. For delivery, contact Manda Mountain at 342-1466. The raffle will be held at the West Monroe football game on Oct. 31. First prize is an emerald ring with diamond baguettes. Second prize is a Remington 870 Express Shotgun, Synthetic Stock. Third prize is a Callaway Great Big Bertha Golf Club. Tickets are $10 each. Checks should be made to the Chris Bowman Medical Fund.
