"Up 'til Dawn" Finale This Friday

The "Up 'til Dawn" finale event is being held this Friday at 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the University Activity Center. St. Jude's will have organization representatives present for the event, as well as local patients.

"Up 'til Dawn" is a student-led, student-run national philanthropy that benefits St. Jude's Hospital. As of early March, ULM students participating in the fundraiser had raised over $20,000. To participate in the program, ULM students were required to recruit a six-member team composed of ULM students and faculty/staff, who would pledge to raise $750 for St. Jude's through various activities. The major fundraising activity is a letter writing campaign, where participants write letters to family and friends asking for donations on behalf of their team. The teams that reach their financial goal are invited to attend the finale "Up 'til Dawn" event as a reward for their hard work and participation. The finale event is a night/morning full of food, fun and entertainment.
