ULM British Studies Program to Hold Informational Meeting

On Nov. 28, the British Studies Program (through ULM) will discuss the Summer Program in London . The meeting will be held at 3:30 p.m. on the sixth floor of the ULM Library.

The Summer Program in London allows its participants to study, research and travel. British Studies Scholars may explore the world of the British Monarchy; enjoy the Celtic cultures of Scotland , Ireland and Wales ; experience London theatre at its finest; and immerse them in a specialized course chosen from a wide range of academic disciplines for six undergraduate or graduate semester hours.

The Summer Program in London is slated for July 6-Aug. 6, 2006. Undergraduate tuition, fees, housing and flight will cost $4,999. Graduate students will have an expenses total of $5,299. These costs exclude food and spending money.

The British Studies Program is in its fourth decade as an academic consortium of 12 colleges and universities. All courses feature substantial travel over the continent of Europe. Classes last three or four days per week, leaving time for independent travel from London to other parts of Britain and Europe.
