Chautauqua Nexus Discussions Target Diverse Subjects at ULM

The educational and cultural Chautauqua Nexus series continues its semester roster with several scheduled discussions.

Monica Bontty will host a rescheduled Chautauqua Nexus entitled "The Bible and the Ancient Near East.” (Rescheduling note: This Nexus was canceled earlier this year due to icy roads. This talk replaces the Nexus by Michael Shane Devault.)

The event will occur Monday, March 27 at 7:15 p.m. in the Hemphill Airway and Computer Science Building, Room 134.

Nikhil Joshi will host a Chautauqua Nexus entitled "Dark Side of the Moon: A Piece For Assorted Lunatics” Wednesday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the ULM Library 6th Floor Media Room.

On Thursday, March 30 at 7:15 p.m., Delta Blue will host a Chautauqua Nexus entitled "Music." The presentation will occur in the ULM Library 6th Floor Media Room.

Nexus presentations are free, informal and open to the public. Everyone is invited to attend. ULM FRYS students are encouraged to attend and sign in.

“The Nexus is an opportunity for intellectual and cultural exchange,” said Dr. Joe McGahan, ULM psychology professor and Chautauqua Nexus organizer.
