KEDM Community Advisory Board elects officers and board members

Public radio station KEDM 90.3 FM’s Community Advisory Board has elected new board members and officers for the upcoming calendar year.

New board members elected to a three-year term are: Jackie Greggs Walden of Monroe, of the Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living; Babbette Adcock of Monroe, building manager for Cross Keys Bank; and Chris Arnold of Monroe, branch manager for Woodforest Bank in Ruston. Adcock will also head the Friends of KEDM support group, which is being reorganized to act as a special event and fundraising arm of the station.

Board members re-elected to an additional three-year term are: Jim Cuthbert of Monroe, Cross Keys Bank; Rhonda Adams Jones of Ruston, the University of Louisiana at Monroe; Monroe attorney Craig Henry; and Jorenda Stone of Monroe.

Officers elected were Cuthbert, president; Robert Eisenstadt, ULM, vice president; Jones, secretary; and Patrick Gerl, Tonore’s Wine Cellar, treasurer.

The KEDM Community Advisory Board counsels the station regarding the needs and interests of the audiences the station serves, advocates for the station by promoting its programs and assists with station fundraising.

KEDM’s studios are located on ULM’s campus. The station serves the parishes throughout northeastern Louisiana and southeastern Arkansas.
