16th Annual Junior/Senior High School Juried Competition to exhibit at ULM through April 2

The 16th Annual Junior/Senior High School Juried Competition will continue in exhibition at the University of Louisiana at Monroe Bry Art Gallery through April 2. An awards ceremony will occur there Friday, March 13, at 6 p.m. The public is invited to attend both the awards ceremony and exhibition.

The exhibit allows northern Louisiana junior/senior high school students to submit their works in competition, without fee. All entries are juried by a panel of ULM art faculty members on creativity, presentation and mastery of the chosen medium.

Best of Show, the Divison of Art Award and Honorable Mention winners will receive cash awards and gift certificates. Scholarships and talent grants may also be available.

The show is hosted by the ULM Division of Art of the School of Visual and Performing Arts. The ULM Campus Activities Board also supplies partial funding.

Bry Art Gallery’s hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m.-12 p.m. on Friday.
