ULM Percussion Ensemble presents concert Nov. 23

The ULM Percussion Ensemble will present a concert Monday Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Brown Auditorium.

The ensemble will perform popular pieces such as "Kpatsa" by the African Ensemble, "Comedian's Gallop" and "The Bee's Melody" by the Steel Band, "Ku-Ka-Ilimoku," "Triplets," and “Recycled.”

Dr. Mel Mobley and Michael Holdiness, graduate assistant, will contribute.

The concert will feature members of the ULM Dance Department on an African piece. The ensemble will capture the audience’s imagination through a wide variety of percussion instruments and styles.

ULM music faculty member Larry Anderson directs the ULM Percussion Ensemble.

Admission is free and open to the public.
