KEDM Public Radio hosts Monroe Mayoral Debate March 19

KEDM Public Radio, 90.3 FM, will broadcast a live debate among candidates for mayor of Monroe, on Monday, March 19, at 7 p.m. 

The event will take place in Stubbs Hall, Room 100, on the University of Louisiana at Monroe campus.

The one-hour discussion will include each candidate’s platform and plans for leading Monroe. 

The public is invited to attend, but seating is limited.  Attendees should plan to be seated no later than 6:30 p.m.

The debate will be moderated by a panel of three journalists, led by KEDM News & Public Affairs Director Bob Lenox. 

The News-Star’s Amritha Alladi and former KNOE-TV newsman Randy Prewitt, will also serve as panelists during the session. 

KEDM Public Radio is licensed to ULM and broadcasts a line-up of in-depth news, classical music, and jazz, along with special entertainment programs from studios located on the ULM campus.
