The Master of Arts in Teaching (M. A. T.) - Special Education (Mild/Moderate) Grades 1-12 Alternative Certification is a 36-hour program. It allows individuals already possessing a Bachelors degree in a field outside of education to pursue Louisiana teacher certification.
