Welcome!

Below is some brief orientation information introducing you to online resources.

I was recently accepted to the University…now what?

Great! Welcome to ULM! Now you will need to be advised. Your advisor will be contacting you via email soon to talk about the courses that you will need to take in the upcoming sessions and your degree progression. If you aren’t sure who your advisor is please visit the "Advising” section of this website.

How do I register for classes?

Once you have been advised and your Advising Hold has been lifted, you will register for your classes in Banner. You can view this short Prezi to get detailed instructions on how to register for your classes.

Where do I find my classes?

Your classes will be located in MOODLE, ULM’s Learning Management System. Your classes should be opened on the first day that classes begin. If you do not see your classes please contact your instructor.

How do I check my Warhawk email account?

Once you are enrolled in classes ULM faculty and staff will only contact you through your ULM issued Warhawk email account. You will no longer get University correspondence through your personal email account. You can get to your Warhawk email account by going to: office365.ulm.edu.

If you do not know your login information for your email account visit the “How do I know what my MOODLE User Name is” section above and follow the directions listed there to find your email account information.

What do I do if I have questions or I get lost?

Online students have a Student Advocate located on campus to help with all of your online learning needs. You can contact your Assistant Online Student Advocate, Ida Gaines Wilson, gaines@ulm.edu or call 318-342-3118. You can also reach out to Online Student Advocate, Joanna Hunter, jhunter@ulm.edu, or call (318) 342-7942 any time you have a question or concern regarding your online education at ULM.
