Interview and Essay Writing Session Information

All applicants must participate in an on-campus interview and writing session as stated in the OTA application requirements.

2012 INTERVIEW SESSIONS

2012 interview sign-up sheets are now ready and available in the Occupational Therapy office located in Caldwell Hall Room 111.

Interviews will be by individual appointments ONLY. You will not be allowed an interview if you have not scheduled an appointment. Interview appointment times are in 15 minute intervals on the following dates:

Tuesday, April 17, 2012
9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM

Wednesday, April 18, 2012
9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM


Interviews will be held in Caldwell Hall Room 210. Students must be outside Room 210 in Caldwell Hall at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled interview. 

A student will not be allowed to be interviewed if he/she is not present at their designated time. Make-up interviews will not be allowed without a VALID excuse.

The interview session will consist of a professional interview. Students should dress accordingly. 


ESSAY WRITING SESSION

The mandatory Essay Writing Session will take place on:

Thursday, April 19, 2012
12:00 Noon – 1:00 p.m. in Caldwell 239

 

All applicants must attend this session. Students will not be admitted to the writing session if they are late.

The writing session will consist of writing a short essay on a provided topic. Paper will be provided for the writing session, but applicants must bring a pen or pencil to the session.
