Prep 2010
|
PREP is an orientation program designed to help new students make a smooth transition to college life. All incoming freshmen who live in Louisiana or a contiguous state (Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas) are required to attend orientation. This includes freshmen who are enrolled in summer classes. During PREP you will select your fall classes, scope out the campus, and meet your fellow classmates. You will also meet with faculty and administrators, change your major if needed, and finally make your course selections. You will leave PREP with a completed schedule of classes for the fall semester. When you arrive at PREP, you will meet your PREP staff leaders. The PREP staff will acquaint you with the ins-and-outs of being a new student at ULM. There is a non-refundable fee of $100 for PREP. This fee covers orientation materials and assistance from the PREP staff while at PREP. Programming for the First Year Experience program will be covered by this fee as well. No payment is due at the time you make your online reservation. This fee will be added to tuition and fee bills for all freshmen.
