Lisa Miller, Associate Provost for Enrollment Management
Lisa Miller serves as associate provost for enrollment management at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
Her work at ULM began in 2002, when she accepted a position as director of recruitment and admissions before her promotion to associate provost. Prior to that, she served in education with positions as an academic counselor and a teacher on the secondary level.
Miller received a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, along with her +30 teacher certification in administration and supervision.
At the governor’s request and appointment, she currently serves on the Children’s Trust Fund Executive Board. She has presented at many regional, state and national conferences. Her professional and community service activity is extensive - among others, she represents the Northeast Louisiana Leadership Council of the Louisiana Center for Women and Government; the Louisiana, Southern and American Associations of College Registrars and Admissions Officers; the National Association of Financial Aid Officers; the National Association of Orientation Directors Association; the Louisiana Counselors Association; the American Heart Association; and committees at ULM.
The associate provost for enrollment management provides leadership and vision to the University community on all issues related to recruitment, admissions, registration and records, retention, orientation, first-year programs, residential life, and financial aid including the strategic use of institutional and foundation scholarships. The associate provost also serves as a member of the ULM Cabinet, the Deans Council and the Louisiana Council of Enrollment Managers. Other duties involve providing input for all marketing strategies directly related to enrollment, representing ULM to the public in a variety of settings, coordinating multiple recruitment and retention events, providing enrollment trends and data analysis as needed, and more.
