Dear Colleagues,
Strong communication is at the core of everything we accomplish together at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Understanding the value of transparent and honest communication, I've asked the Office of University Relations to design a new online newsletter for faculty, staff, and students.
The newsletter will be updated regularly and will include a Dear Colleague letter the first week of every month. A key component of that newsletter, which I've named "Straight Talk," is the President's Inbox, where you can post questions or comments, and many of those will be posted online.
You will also find a "Faculty Spotlight" link, which highlights the incredible accomplishments of our distinguished faculty. Another component, "Campus Spotlight," features important cultural events and campus renovation updates.
I urge you to check out "Straight Talk" at www.ulm.edu/president/straight_talk.html. The newsletter can also be accessed directly from the president’s page.
